Teacher Workshops

I am NJ-certified in elementary education and a former classroom teacher. I also hold an outdoor educator certification from the National Outdoor Leadership School. I have almost two decades of experience doing inquiry science with kids in school gardens and habitats and in natural settings. My workshops are hands-on. I strive to provide teachers with activities they can implement in the classroom the next day. WILD Jersey is a registered professional development provider (NJ provider 5518).

Science and Nature Lectures

I’m available for lectures on a variety of topics, from travel to gardening. I’ve given dozens of talks at libraries and conferences. I’ve volunteered as a public speaker for both the Earthwatch Institute and the Rutgers Master Gardeners Program.
