Programs for K-6 Schools |
WILD Jersey programs are interactive and hands-on, and designed for “small” groups. Group size limits are listed with each program description. |
| Some WILD Jersey programs include the use of discovery backpacks loaded with materials to help students investigate the topic. Students get to carry their own pack, and are able to use items like binoculars, pocket microscopes, magnifiers, field ID guides, insect bottles, or journaling materials. Look for the backpack symbol next to program titles. |

| Fees |
| Fees are quoted with the program descriptions, found through the linked pages above. There is a $150 minimum program fee per scheduled date. A written quotation can be provided for any program request. Full payment is due on the day of the scheduled program unless a purchase order was processed. For purchase orders, full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date or a 10% late fee will apply. |
| Travel Fees |
| Additional travel fees are determined by distance in miles from the WILD Jersey office to your program site. Any site requiring less than 40 miles (roundtrip) of travel does not incur a travel fee. Travel over this distance will incur a fee of $0.35 per mile after the first 40 miles. Travel fees are added per program date and are calculated using MapQuest. |
| Materials Fees |
| Certain activities may require a per student fee for consumable materials. These fees are listed with the program description. |
| Nature University |
| The Nature University option is a cost-effective way to bring WILD Jersey programs to your school throughout the year. Schedule six or more program dates and receive a 5% discount on program fees when paying in advance. Discount applies to program fees only (not to materials costs or travel fees). |
